Blue and Gold Dinner Cake

I did this cake for my sons Cub Scout Packs Blue and Gold birthday dinner!

This was fun becasue i got to really utilize my food markers on the little fondant scout patches i made. A child at the dinner asked if those were real badges on the cake, Hahaha! I guess I did a good job replicating them, then.

funny story though, nobody told me that they changed the number of our pack and it wasnt in any of the email they sent out, so i put the wrong number on the cake!!!

Also, i had broken my glasses the other day and found that my contacts were dried up. So this cake was done while i was "blind"!! i could not see clearly more than maybe a foot in front of my face. I was very annoyed the whole time, but glad that it came out how i expected it to.
