Minnie Mouse Cake

I did this cake for my neighbors sweet little girl! She wanted three different color so I made the bow pink, frosting blue and the cake is purple! I was too tired to snap a pic of the inside :-( 

but i assure you it was a nice lavender purple color!

It was all vanilla, with white chocolate chips in the cake :-)

Minecraft Dynamite Cake

I had grand plans for this cake, plans that got shattered as the cake warmed and the fondant began to slip! I can't believe I made such a rookie mistake! Luckily it wasn't a paid order, I made this for my sons 11th birthday! He planned the whole party and made almost everything! I only did the chicken and the cake. I am so proud of him! Someday he will probably end up making his own cakes too! I have been making my own and the family cakes since I was 11 myself.

Art Transfer Cake

I bought a Costco cake for my sisters birthday and scooped off the stupid flowers and replaced them with a buttercream transfer copy of y sisters own artwork. This is a little comic she drew of herself and posted on Facebook, which I stole, printed out and traced in vanilla buttercream!

Supergirl Cake

I am really having fun working with buttercream designs. It looks awesome and tastes way better than fondant!

I made this for a friend way back in February and never posted it! I keep forgetting to update my blogs because I've been busy with my film classes!

My Little Pony cake

I made this my little pony transfer design cake for my daughters 4th birthday! Chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream, simple yet delicious! I torted the cake so it would be taller and have more filling inside. This design was particularly time consuming, I wish I had outlined in a thinner black, but it turned out pretty good considering!

Angry Birds cakes!

Red bird is chocolate with vanilla buttercream. Yellow bird is vanilla with vanilla buttercream. No fondant. Super good.
Pig cupcakes are vanilla.

Beach themed First Birthday smash cupcakes

I made these last night for my friends one year old, super adorable little girl!
The cake is vanilla rainbow and vanilla frosting with gum paste plumerias, white chocolate sea shells and graham cracker sand.

Jim Carrey Cake

My little sister ordered this cake for her 17th birthday, much like her older sisters, she has a small obsession with all things Jim Carrey. I was very tempted to do Ace Ventura, but I settled with a nice smile pic of ole Jim.

Yo Gabba Gabba Cake

Here is the beautiful Yo Gabba Gabba cake I made for my friends little girls 2nd birthday! I worked so hard getting the little characters just right, although I did make the mistake of not supporting the second tier as firmly as I should have so it is leaning a tad, not making that mistake again!

it still turned out great and my friend said it was a big hit! Yay!

Tools!

I love getting new tools!! Especially cake decorating tools! I'm slowly but surely adding to my collection, at this point I'm in need of a bigger cake decorators box!!
